As a whole, Anais Mitchell's - Hadestown is my personal favorite. Not because it she's my favorite artist (she isn't), or because it has all my favorite songs (although I love the music very much), but because it's the perfect album to me.

The music, the artwork, the story, it all fits perfectly in a way that I've never seen another album manage. It's like music meets a really good book, because it sort of is. It's just an underappreciated masterpiece.

That's just my opinion though.
