Author Topic: bill cosby found guilty on all counts  (Read 11124 times)

we know for a fact it has happened at least once with one person out of 8 billion
no we dont. it was never proven, it was never implied anywhere that this event happened. You are simply assuming it is true because it is something that happens frequently.

I don't need to loving prove someone ate a damn hotdog today because we know for a fact it has happened at least once with one person out of 8 billion.

You're sitting here telling me it's possible that out of 8 billion people maybe someone won't eat a hotdog today.

And that it can't  be proven unless I prove it.
Please tony.
You're turning this whole argument upside down.

The rule about making claims is that it's false until proven true.
Extraordinary claims deserve extraordinary evidence.

Tony what you're doing is comparing apples and apple-negas, giving people an out instead of facing reality.

yea. a rapist was found guilty for loveual assault. what about it?
I was talking about how "here we are" in the context of this thread.

I make such a claim of there being obvious signs of foul-play, and several people in this thread have
proved that very claim about "no one getting mad" wrong, before you even made said claim.

I have actually seen women criticizing men for using the #MenToo hashtag, saying that men are trying to "hijack" the #MeToo movement or whatever.  It's pretty disgusting.

A statistical impossibility is a probability that is so low as to not be worthy of mentioning

As in at least one person eating a hotdog today.

As in someone using a hashtag.

As in someone walking.

We know these things happen every day with at least 8 billion people out in the world with 8 billion or more possibilities.

You're sitting here telling me I have to prove something that happens every day.

This isn't the same as levitating magically. That doesn't happen every day.

It does matter because it could devalue actual future rape cases
Well our justice system is incredibly flawed. People are found guilty every day for crimes they didn't commit, and people are found innocent for crimes they did commit. That's why we have defense and prosecution

Prove it

Nobody has gotten mad at a man for using the #metoo hashtag. it is a statistical impossibility, therefore it is not worth mentioning. Please rethink your argument

Well our justice system is incredibly flawed.

Proof or it doesn't exist.

Proof or it doesn't exist.

A man was found guilty for a crime he did not commit. The event exists. Therefore the justice system is flawed.

But 1 is insignificant though.

Isn't that your words.

You need to prove a significant chunk of evidence for this to be plausible to suggest our justice system is flawed.

"this stuff happens" is not an argument against what I've said.

False. In this case, a flaw is a mark, fault, or other imperfection that mars a substance or object. The justice system is supposed to accurately charge people for their crimes. Because the justice system failed to do that once, the justice system is now literally flawed. It is no longer perfect, therefore it is flawed.

If a woman gets angry at a man for using a #meToo hashtag, then the statement that 'women get mad at men for using #metoo hashtag' is true. but you haven't proven it yet. I have proven my argument, you havent

You provided 1 example.

That means every other case has not happened unless you can prove it exists.

And 1 proven case is insignificant to the general populous.

Do you see why your argument is getting contradictory?

Because our system works on skepticism not blind belief.
says you, the skeptic
That is not what that says what that says is "women are worthy of being believed"
Being believed, not put under scrutiny like the rest of the cases in the United States.
As if they deserve a pass on any trial in the court of law because they're "woman worthy of being trusted."
honestly it sounds to me like you're just trying to own liberals
