Legally bill cosby is guilty of rape, therefore that's final. It doesn't matter if there's like 61 people who lied and 1 person who told the truth. if all 62 people lied then cosby would be found innocent.
It does matter because it could devalue actual future rape cases.
Disputing a rape case doesn't make you pro-rape or anti women. There are almost no cases of this happening. Nobody will get angry at you if you believe that there is some amount of foul play involved.
and yet... here we are.
how tf is it a bad thing for women to be considered worthy of being believed...?
Because our system works on skepticism not blind belief.
"Innocent until Proven Guilty."
Not "Believed, go to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200 Dollars."
all that's saying is literally just that you shouldn't shut down a case just because a woman said it
circlejerk your tinfoil hat somewhere else
That is not what that says what that says is "women are worthy of being believed"
Being believed, not put under scrutiny like the rest of the cases in the United States.
As if they deserve a pass on any trial in the court of law because they're "woman worthy of being trusted."
