Author Topic: games youre excited for coming out this year  (Read 7858 times)

Left Alive.
Everything else I'm waiting for doesn't even have an estimate so here's to hoping they come this year.

I'm hoping Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord will come out but who knows at this point
bro i feel u

my own game ;)

ive been working for 2 and a half months on it and i'm almost pretty much done with all of the base code, should be done in a month from now. after that i just make a few prototype models and mockup stuff and i can put the prototype on kickstarter or something

if it gets funded i can then finish the game in another 3-4 months after that
i would be wary of setting such a short timeframe. sound and art and ui and turorials and all the little bugs here and there tend to result in major extensions. take your expected time and multiply by three is the industry rule of thumb iirc

All I want is Mario Maker on the Switch.
It's not announced, but I still want it.

with mario world slopes and mario 2 theme

Spyro Reignited Trilogy
Smash 5
Spyro: Spring Savanna (fangame, may or may not come out this year, but its looking more complete all the time)

I also had a little ME type bs with spyro... it kinda freaked me out.

Personally I don't have anything to look forward to, at least I don't think so.

Even if I did, I try not to get excited for it in case it lets me down, I did this with Mario Odyssey and by god I'm glad I didn't expect anything from it.

the forgettable dungeon (estimated), warioware gold and that one major fighting game revealed in a small direct for switch

if that gets released, all i'll use my wii u for is south park pinball because it's not on pinball fx 3

not exactly a new game (more like dlc), but i'm excited for sonic mania plus
although i think that's because i can feasibly get it in comparison to anything else that's coming out this year

jesus i didint know "games your exited for" is coming out this year

holy stuff im exited

well the game's almost 80% programmed all that would be left are just assets art and sound. i already have a ton of unused models i cant wait to make use of and as far as art goes i'd only really use it on the UI, which im designing to be simplistic as forget

ive been doing unit and integration testing up the ass so i know everything has been bug tested thoroughly already. the only source of bugs i can imagine would be the not-yet-made save system

the 4 month deadline is just for the game to pass the system tests, there'd probably be another month dedicated for acceptance testing, as well as a month or two after for beta tests. all of these deadlines are subject to change but im definitely going to try and keep all development under 8 months
