For those of you who don't know, all hotlinked photobucket images turned into this:
And in order to be able to hotlink images from photobucket again, you have to pay $400 a year.
The two worst parts of this:
-Because of caching, people who are using the images usually don't know that almost no one else can see the images.
-Apparently, a lot of people using eBay or whatever used photobucket for like, hundreds of the things they sell. Requiring a lot of time and effort to go in and fix it all.
I'm glad I stopped using it ages before this started happening. I stopped using the site when you couldn't direct link images (it would redirect to a page containing the image) and they flooded the place with like, 6 ads per page. Yes, I know, I can block ads. I do. But I didn't want people I linked stuff to to experience that sort of thing.
