dude ive never heard of a substantial or worrying amount of cases where a pitbull with a responsible owner attacks someone.

I never heard of the Holocaust until I was about 5 or 6.
Does that mean until I was about 5 or 6 the Holocaust didn't exist?

its all about the dog's upbringing. dogs are still wolves and have a pack mentality. dogs (chihuahuas) usually dont act out of line unless you allow them to and it goes for pitbulls as well

one bad ear of corn doesn't mean the entire bushel is no good. you cannot blame the entire pitbull breed for something that happened as a result of poor dog raising abilities and poor judgment of the owner. there are plenty of people who own pitbulls and have owned them in the past and had very reliable companionships with no issues whatsoever.

There also isn't a 'substantial or worrying amount of cases' for pitbull related deaths. There's no more than 2 a month, and that doesn't determine whether it was a random act of violence, or protection of their owner's property either.
