best case scenario they keep it in the glitch thread, badspot doesnt intervene.
worst case scenario, badspot shuts down forum because of this

i doubt he'd shut the forums down over it, he'd probably just ban the people who use it.

It's fine when people use it to customize their profile (even though it destroys PMs), but yeah, this turned into a real stuffshow fast

patching this issue may be very hard though. he's mentioned that the forum software's code is a complete mess and trying to fix the bbcode may break everything further
