Considering Creating an Archive For Blockland Maps

Author Topic: Considering Creating an Archive For Blockland Maps  (Read 2857 times)

I think it would be cool to start a little archive of the various maps from before v21, they were a pretty big part of Blockland's history and having a list of the most notable maps would be pretty interesting. (At least in my opinion)

This wouldn't contain ALL the maps that have been made for Blockland just ones that fall under at least one of three criteria:
  • The map was POPULAR
  • The map was UNIQUE
  • The map is HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT to the game in some fashion

Post ideas for notable maps and I'll add them to the list. I plan on having a download link to each map, a detailed description, and some pictures.

THE LIST (AKA ideas so far)

map_slate
map_slopes
map_kitchen

map_warehouse

Warehouse?

Warehouse?
Ye something like that. I was pretty young when I played back then.

Just gonna add one more reason to do this: there's a converter being created that takes heightmaps of maps and converts them into modtier, allowing for use in the current game
