i really dont get how people join discords to just ignore them. every discord i join i read every message on, so i dont miss Anything. and of course I'm only in discords of which I'm actually interested in, and that aren't filled with people i don't like. also hyperactive discords are never fun either. - id rather the chat not go at 200mph all the time.
if you're struggling to find discords, i don't think you should bother purposefully looking out for them - I've accumulated a lot of discords just by finding them on places i usually visit, like a youtube channel advertising it or someplace else. it'l take time but you'll find them.
only real issue i have with discord is performance - why the forget does it need to take up 300mb of ram constantly? it's very inefficient to be using a forgetin web browser as your application. also, the program is only in 32-bit, which is super odd. the worst part of performance is the video streaming though - which takes up a *lot* of my cpu, which is really bad if im wanting to share a resource-heavy game with a friend. if you want an example of a program that did this right, see teamviewer.
