Humble Water Filter Merchant is a loving moron of the highest degree but banning him is playing right into his hands. These companies have poured gas all over his fire in that now he actually can cite these bannings as solid proof that the "deep state" is after him, and others like him will now use him as a martyr of sorts. I don't really know what the solution is but the way that these companies chose to handle it is completely hamfisted and will probably help him in the long run.

The easy solution is to just ban all videos that break the rules with no exceptions, which is currently what YouTube tries to do. I'm sure if someone wants to create their own YouTube drama thread they could and all the cesspool videos can just ferment in there for all eternity, that way users like master matthew can still get their dose of classic liberal political commentary without starting five threads complaining about stuff

This is correct, the issue is that these companies(youtube and facebook in particular) have a long history of being completely incompetent and major political bias, leading to people like Humble Water Filter Merchant and Master Matthew to go ballistic and use their incompetence to justify the bullstuff they put out.

they ban plenty of far left stuff posters all the time, I see people talking about how they want to hang their Annoying Orange supporter neighbor have their account suspended. Nobody gives a stuff because they're supposed to be removed because their posts are handicapped. Far right stuff posters also get banned just as frequently but when that happens everyone turns defensive saying their freedom of speech is being infringed upon because conservatives have a special elitist get out of ban free card for some reason

its temporary though - it only doubles down on his current userbase. by cutting off his presence on major platforms it means far less fewer people will be drawn into being an active follower (new people only find him by his userbase advertising for him). short term benefit, but long term downside.
