the 1st amendment doesn't protect your frozen peaches against a private company's actions on their platform

Yes I am loving aware of this.

The government can't control our freedom of speech.

But they found a way to control our freespeech through facebook, twitter, and youtube. Those companies own the monopoly on social media and through a loophole in the constitution it is completely legal for a private company to infringe on free speech rights.

This is not right and should not be tolerated.

You do realize that those corporations are big enough to not only influence elections but affect small businesses.

By censoring specific things different election outcomes or specific businesses will suffer from the harmful effects of their censorship because they are that loving big.

People get mad the government infringes on their free speech.

But they sleep when the government pressures big corporations like facebook to censor free speech.

Wake up

when you rigorously defend facebook's right to censor at will it makes the NPC meme seem just much more true.

Yet a private christian bakeshop is not allowed to deny gay cakes apparently.

Not sure what the guy expected of making a video about punching an annoying feminist other than consequences. Imo that video is disgusting, but it is a game, so judging it as an actual crime is ridiculous. Then again, getting one's youtube channel removed isn't an actual punishment either.

there's a big difference between refusing to make someone a cake and providing content on someone else's service

but of course you already know this, im wasting my time explaining something common sense, your memes suck

Also, if you agree to a service's terms of service, right now as of how US law works, they're within their right to terminate your stuff if they decide you broke their terms of service. That's not the same thing as being denied service on account of religious or personal reasons, so it's a false equivalence.

I don't give a stuff if you're arguing in bad faith, this is moreso for people reading and buying into your dumb bullstuff.

itt: conservatives dont understand us law

ITT people make excuses for corporate censorship and conflate the first amendment with the spirit of free speech

Same kind of people who would suck the steel toes off a boot if it pressed into their necks hard enough to give them an erection

But you can't argue w/ NPCs
