Author Topic: Nintendo sues rom sites for 12 million  (Read 4146 times)

who loving cares about that though. these people do not deserve a lifetime of debt for delivering something that Nintendo failed to do for 20 years.
this
without an emulator i'd hardly be able to actually try games i've always wanted to play but lacked the hardware to do so

Im not trying to say that Nintendo doesn't have ownership over their older IPs, but I will say that 12 million is inexcusable when these roms aren't cutting into sales.

that is a lot but i mean, what else did you expect? 20,000? 5,000? why not just dont pirate roms... now its 0$  your welcome

ik you're just trollin but damn that makes me mad lol. you can't even buy 99% of the games that were on rom sites

not to mention, if ROMS did not exist. reselling videogames would be extremely expensive due to supply and demand.

maybe Nintendo should have just kept selling their games. technically its their fault. lol

its technically that homeless dudes fault i stabbed him. he was being annoying. please declare me innocent

what??? more like... the city doesn't have enough places to live so most people are homeless. only way to get a place to live is to pay a hefty unreasonable price by a current homeowner due to supply and demand. the city decides to combat the issue by suing the homeless for living on property they don't own. yeah, the homeless people were breaking the law, but they had no other choice, it was literally the only option.

your right trogtor mario party 7 is a necessity of human life and denying people their right to it is immoral. playing it is literally the only option

You seem angry

no but if nintendo chooses not to sell a product anymore making it unavailable to be sold for retail price then i do not feel sorry for their (((loss of sales))) [which doesn't exist]

Trogtor what part of pirating don't you understand? Downloading a ROM is the exact same process as downloading a game illegally. Still piracy, loss of profits.

Pretty sure the developers who actually poured their hearts and souls into making those games would rather have them played in general rather then disappearing into the abyss because of handicapped, outdated copyright laws. Because they aren't making a penny off them either way.
