bernie or bust 2020!!!!!!!!!!!

capitalism is all well and good until you're one of the poor working a disgusting job
Which is why we needs socialism, when everyone is poor no one is poor

Sweden has the highest income tax rate in the world, they get to keep less than half of what they earn. They're also up there in sales tax. I've compared PC parts I could buy here to what they could buy and they were paying about 3x more after conversions.
So? You think that everyone pays the same % of taxes in Sweden? Those high taxes make it possible for Sweden to offer free education, healthcare and social security to citizens. There is a reason why the Nordic countries rank so high in happiness and human development indices. You can check the tax brackets here.

That’s in large part because countries like sweden are highly educated and ethnically undiverse. Sweden is beginning to have issues due to outside parties being introduced and becoming what’s known as “the freeloader problem”. I’m not saying that socialism can’t work, but you have to look at the situation it’s being introduced in. The United States is in a completely different situation than the scandinavian countrys. That’s the issue. Cultural differences, differences in position in world affars, differences in population size and diversity, the list goes on and on.
I double major in economics and energy managment, and I had a professor that more or less spent a month comparing and contrasting the US and Sweden and how and why certan economic and social policies work and don’t work in both places. It’s a huge cultural difference in large part. Many of the problems that the US has are completely unfathomable for Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. You gotta look at context in a matter of both the social and econ aspects, and in a country as large as the united states, the freeloader problem(among other things) would be utterly crippling and end up ruining the country.
Does the US spend too much money on trivial things? Absolutly. Should it spend it’s money in other ways? Yea probably. Does the entire government need to be audited and funds be spent more efficantly? forget yes. Will the united states be crippled by high tax rates? Ab so loving lutly, especially as the US’s middle class shrinks and the upper middle class dramatically increses while the lower and lower middle class remain at the same or largly similar rates as they’ve been the last 50 years(ajusted for inflation)

Germany needed more socialism too, look where that ended up.

Of course using the exact system that Nordic countries use would not work, but that doesn't mean they are impossible to implement. Before implementing universal healthcare, it should be tested. As for high taxes, the same applies. Gradual process towards the nordic model until an optimal balance is found is probably the best approach. Right now the biggest problem is the stuff like Amazon getting away with 0 taxes and other ridiculously low tax rates for ridiculously wealthy people/companies.

Communism would solve all crimes involving "theft" because a "criminal" entering "your" house and coming into "your" bathroom to grab the excreted turd yet still clinging to "your" star fish just to run and slap "your" wife with said turd and run out of "your house" with your three most valued "belongings"
Couldn't be convicted of much

Ironic statement

the freer the market the freer the people, they said

This sounds eerily similar to the English translation of a German newspaper clip from the late 60s

If I remember right it's basically

"the more powerful socialism the better your freedom"

Paging Eric Arthur Blair.

Hes only raising money for the real dnc nominee. It makes no difference who actually won it, they have already decided who gets it :p

Ironic statement
Implement socialist policies and over tax the companies + Rich?
They'll fly their companies and money out of the country.

It's called capital flight. If you throw out all the people who can make money and only keep the dipstuffs with their hands out begging for an angel to come and save them, the country will eventually collapse. Either they will learn from it and be better from it, or they will migrate to a country that has money to give them.

Socialism is a leach.

I do wonder why other countries manage to implement these taxes and still keep the companies in. Most of the richest companies make their money off of the American people, they need to pay at least SOMETHING for that right, otherwise it's just draining money off from the middle class to off-shore bank accounts.

MM just likes to go:

"ACKshually the companies will LEAVE checkmate SOCIALIST"

everytime someone mentions theses things, he doesn't want to find a solution at all he just wants so ignore everything and keep licking company/billionaires boots and protect them from ever having to pay any taxes
