IT KEEPS HAPPENING!!!!

brother are you loving serious

Epic games is Thanos confirmed

What an epic way to kill the hype. Remember when PC gaymers laughed at Console Wars? Guess we got a Launcher War after all.

epic games using fortnite bucks to bribe developers

I hate this gay loving stuff. Guess I won't be purchasing this one either until Steam release.

0 IQ: releasing your game on steam
200 IQ: taking a bribe to force your game onto epic launcher for 1 year

lol cool man. there's nothing wrong here - they got paid more, that's how companies work

just download a free launcher or wait a year. there's literally no need for any outrage. metro exodus is doing great sales wise. it's not gonna affect obsidian in any way. im still buying it on release

the problem is that it could be available on both stores but they make it exclusive to help epic gain more users

You have fun with your launcher that hates consumers and has a ton of security flaws, I ain't gonna support this bullstuff

< people getting mad epic games is trying to make money

its pretty obvious epic games is putting up a big fight in trying to muscle in on steam territory. dunno whats there to be mad about, this might actually make steam pick up their pace and try to be competitive for once (ex: fix longstanding qol/usability/optimization issues with steam, better content policing and sales, etc)

gamers benefit from this competition and fighting long run, cause it'll make these platforms offer better sale cuts/funding opportunities for exclusive rights to game dev studios, in an attempt to attract developers to their platform. this means devs have more money to work with and make better games. the worst case scenario where steam dies is if steam gets complacent like blackberry did to apple and ignores the competition.
