If the local police department is corrupt, good luck trying to take them out of power lol.

They'll receive backup from the national guard if you even come close but you'll have to go through every other police department in the area plus SWAT and possible state police first.

Honestly bad cops will just turn in their badges & guns when they're told they're breaking the law and come along quietly.

wikipedia is reliable enough to get an overview of something. it doesnt mean its literally lies.

many teachers and professors encourage people to use wikipedia as a starting point to find more trustworthy/reliable sources (in the citations). "wikipedia is not a reliable source" doesn't mean its literally worthless, it means you cannot take the ideas/text/facts there as complete and irrefutable truths.

its comparable to some random classmate telling you something that happened at school while you were away. you can't take their word at face value - they may be missing the details behind "someone was caught cheating" - but you can assume that they aren't making up something entirely.

If you hate youtube, you're a communist

There are some good cops out there but all cops are inherently bad.

Cops are not legally obligated to protect and serve. They could literally refuse service even if you're about to die and they won't get in trouble for it.

Cops abuse the system multiple times to get what they want (see civil asset forfeiture)

All cops stick up for each other even when they are clearly in the wrong.

If a cop needs an excuse for doing what they did they'll just say "I was just following orders" like the national socialists did.

The system put in place is corrupt.

We need to go back to the 1880s where the Sheriff is democratically elected by the townspeople and if the sheriff becomes corrupt himself then the townspeople should be able to take him out of power without repercussions.

ive never agreed with tony 100% until now

That's how mafia works.

There are some good cops out there but all cops are inherently bad. - Citation needed.

Cops are not legally obligated to protect and serve. They could literally refuse service even if you're about to die and they won't get in trouble for it. - Service calls, yes. Blue code calls, no.

Cops abuse the system multiple times to get what they want (see civil asset forfeiture) - True to an extent, but variable to the cop's nature.

All cops stick up for each other even when they are clearly in the wrong. - Citation needed/false. While the thin-blue-line, blue wall, blue curtain definitely exists, it's up to the officer's discretion and that again relies heavily on their personal code and beliefs.

If a cop needs an excuse for doing what they did they'll just say "I was just following orders" like the national socialists did. - Although modern police forces are quasi-military, officers don't receive direct orders and trying to pull that over someone's eyes won't work.

The system put in place is corrupt outdated, not corrupt.

Don't let one bad run in with a highschool dropout deputy ruin our reputation. Yeah some cops are bad, but that negative attitude comes from media outrage and stories of innocent people being gunned down viciously because they wouldn't comply. Key word, "wouldn't".

All cops are bad because they are under a system that is designed to be corrupt.

The only good cop is a cop that resigns because he's tired of the bullstuff his station gets away with.
