WOL NEWS UPDATE


I have decided to shutdown half of WOL, I apologise for any problems this may case. We will still be allied with the Muzzets and will still give full time support and info to our members.

We are moving to a new game that is currently alfa "Whirled" you will be able to sign up to play this game when it is released to the near future.

As before we apologise for any inconvenience this is to you and we hope to see you on one of our soon to be servers soon.

We are only shutting down half of it because everyone hates WOL in block land, I am sick of going onto servers and ppl just say "WOL sux" and "You fail". On whirled ppl like WOL. Half of WOL will still be hear, a shadow of what was once a happy clan. Smashed and battered by the empire of MotE and there friends. Maybe we will come back someday.. But for now we are closing the gates and only leaving one small door open to BL.

What is "Whirled"?

...what was once a happy clan. Smashed and battered by the empire of MotE and there friends.

There is no "empire of MotE". You must mean the clans that actually have more then 2 or 3 members.

Whirled! is a mod of the Spacewar Game as an entry to the Dream Build Play Warm-Up competition. The main features are:

Cooperative Control:
While Whirled! is a single player experience against AI controlled enemies, we implemented controls and game play that make it not only possible but advantageous to play cooperatively with a friend. This is done by having both players control different aspects of the same ship. We've called this "Cooperative Control" and is really the intended way to play.

Single "Bullet":
Whirled! is a strategic shooter where each ship has only a single ballistic "Blade" to use to attack opponents. Firing and recalling the blade is done with the Right trigger; however, the blade is omni-directional and the player has the option of controlling the launch direction by using the Right brown townog stick. The player may use the Blade in defense as well by blocking incoming blades.

No Whirled is a beta game with a huge multi player set of worlds. In was made by Three Rings it is not a shooter and it is an online community made up of whirleds witch are like clans OK.
