Author Topic: Two Worlds  (Read 3393 times)

I want to know why so many people have told me it sucks.  I am addicted to it.  I've been playing on the American RPG server, and I'm getting up there in levels.  The quests could use a little variety, but its wicked fun anyway.

Yes, I thought it was awesome too.

Bad, but awesome.  :D

I played the demo, and hated it.  It was JUST like Gothic 3.  I could not stand that game.

I should be getting a copy soon(guy I know can't really play it, so I can have his).

What's it like?

The only thing wrong with it is that there are alot of glitches in it. Also, you need to save every 30 minutes because it will freeze up alot.

Its only £11 from Amazon for PC, must of got some bad reviews.

Its got great graphics for such a cheap game.  The gameplay is fun.  It can be laggy at times, but really I only lag when I do a taint run and 100 or so zombies spawn all at once.

Singleplayer:  You go about doing quests, basically shaping the world with what you do.  My friend recently completed it two ways; good and evil.
Multiplayer:  There are 3 main servers, 2 European and 1 American, and several servers inside each one.  Inside each of those, the player can choose to make an RPG character or a PVP character.  On the American server, I have never seen a PVP server with any people in it.  Lots of complaints from my friends are about the PVP, but there is a solution.  In the RPG, players can choose to do arena mode, where there is team deathmatch and team monsterhunt etc.  The RPG server isn't always packed, I think that the most I've seen was 30, and that was on a weekend.  But, the admins and mods are on a lot, so I've never seen a cheater.  Everybody in the small community is nice, and your guild member will often start you out.  One of my guild members says he is making me a kick-ass axe.

Tis fun.

Yow, I downloaded the demo and I almost killed myself at the lack of animation interpolation. :(

BUMP.

Just got this game, haven't really bothered with quests (got some of the teleport stuff done  though) and I've just been running around killing things.

I have three parts of an armor suit that disallows swimming and archery, the body has 328 to each defense or something stupid like that.

Also the Sword of the Damned is rediculous.

Man I loved this game when I had a chance to play at my brother's house, I seriously think it was something like Medieval Doom just because the only point in the game seems to be to murder everything.

I need to buy it for myself, in the meantime I've just been playing the demo.

Everyone says it sucks and I don't know why.  It's like Diablo 2 in 3D and without respawns (everything you kill seems to just stay dead and come back as ghosts, which are weak and relatively easy to kill, except necromancer ghosts, who've lose their magic after death but got a lot more health, not that it matters when they do like 4 damage per hit.

I think I am going to roll a mage and an archer, right now I have this "The Bow Of Fate" on my warrior which has a base damage of 661, and them I dumped every spirit enchantment I ever found on it to add another 760 or something on top of the 1500 bludgeoning damage it was already doing with my quiver.  How the forget do arrows deal bludgeon damage?

Level 20 after 8 straight hours of playing or so, and there are still things that one-hit me.  No idea what the max level is in this game.

I don't think there is a cap, maybe 99 but I seem to recall people going over 200

How do you get that high when nothing respawns?

Revive spell

DIIIICK!!!! DIIIIIIIIIIIIIICKS!!!

I assume that this is comparable to a zombie asking for brains?
