very relevant thank you

being vegan will just make you sad and angry for the rest of your life

If everyone on the planet went vegan then there would be humans eating vegetables more than cows do.

So what difference does it solve lol
Veganism isn't the ultimate solution, but it is harm reduction. The only reason cows exist in the numbers they do is because they are now a slave race designed by humans for humans. If we didn't consume so much beef and dairy products, cows would not exist in the numbers they do; they have been genetically engineered to be as bountiful as possible. Cows could be fed better diets that reduce their methane emissions from belching (Methane is roughly 30x more potent than Co2 as a heat-trapping greenhouse gas.) Lab-grown meat is also being tested by scientists. If you give a stuff, be a solution seeker, inform your peers on how to reduce their impact on the environment, and be wary of where the food you consume comes from.

vegetable farms destroy just as many ecosystems as animal farming does.

The only difference is no methane

The only difference is no methane
the point is that there will be less vegetable farms overall

and methane is a huge part of pollution

I will agree w/ this if only because lab grown meat will completely remove the need for the livestock industry

However, we all know how uphill that fight's gonna be once the lobbyists start paying handicaps off, like they do, so glhf

imagine if we just had food replicators like star trek

I'm gonna stick with real meat until the lab stuff is as cheap or cheaper than real meat and tastes the same or insanely close

True cause even if you clone the muscle you still have to like, stimulate it the way it's done when they're grown out on the field, not to mention whatever nutrients and stuff it gets soaked in from the cow's diet

of course, I'm sure those scientists aren't handicapped and are aware of this, so, we'll see

This, except I'm going to keep eating my bovine.

i saw an article about lab grown meat where they had artificially "trained" it but making it contract with machines and electrostimulation iirc

also would you guys try eating human meat if we could somehow grow it?

No. Why on Earth would you do that? That's called a slippery slope.
