I just figured that after your little crying fit you had, you wouldn't be showing your face around here for a while. Clearly you have not managed to retain a shred of dignity.
It was not a crying fit, it was just telling people the truth.
And trust me, you're a script kiddie. You learning C++ would be like George Bush growing a brain. It's just not going to happen.
It is happening.
I mean, you leave in a huge huff, throwing insults left and right like firecrackers, saying you're off to learn how to code. You then come back some 3 weeks later and claim that a .DSO is binary and hexadecimal is a color-coding format.
I said hexadecimal is used for colour coding.
I don't think anyone on this forum appreciates your input after your little explosion, so why don't you go and plague some other community with your idiocy
Believe it or not, everyone isn't a stuck up as you.
Alternatively, you could make your own Blockland with this newfound C++ knowledge that you have gained.
Why would I want to re-invent the wheel? If I wanted to play Blockland, I would still have it.
I'm sure you're up to the challenge, its not that hard, right? You could even get together with those Blockland Source guys. I'm sure they could use a professional and experienced programmer like yourself.
Coding a game takes dedication, plus I'm not that good with OpenGL yet, I've only got to loading .obj file. I'm almost at a stage to iron out the bugs in my .3ds loader.
I also do not claim to be a professional programmer, I am learning, how many times must I tell you for you to get it into that thick skull of yours?
Pickle, surely you remember all the times that Ephi and I tried to help you the right way even against Ephi's better judgment.
You tried to help me out some times yes, Ephialtes just made comments that didn't help at all.
And, to top it all, less than a week after we last helped you, you come back with that ice creamty MS Paint face-sitting ice cream. Then you went on a rampage and left.
I use Paint.NET, not MS Paint.
I see that you have two logical choices:
1. Stick to your guns and leave as you said you would.
2. Apologize for being a stubborn idiot and come back.
This "I'm here but I'm not here"-style of fence-sitting has got to end . . . unless you're the kind of guy that derives pleasure from sitting on fences.
I like to check up on Blockland. It's nice to see the game develop.
