Prior to the media smears, Ivermectin was a common option for treating Yellow Fever. But because of
this "Horse De-Wormer" conflation, not only is Ivermectin nolonger a Covid Treatment, we will no doubt
see Yellow Fever on the rise soon.

I don't even know why I wasted the time to make this post. I literally feel dumber.

Ivermectin was also identified as a promising agent against the alphaviruses chikungunya, Semliki Forest and Sindbis virus, as well as yellow fever, a flavivirus [5].

Yep I also read that Ivermectin is a "promising agent against the alphaviruses chikungunya" Not that it is used as such commonly.

Thankfully you can get vaccinated for it so you don't have to worry so much!

i have proof that drydess is a communist

theres tons of “promising agent” articles made to suggest lines of research that never turned into an actual recommended treatment because, surprise, it didnt work when tested, was too insignificant in changing results, or had such severe side effects that negated any positive effect it had. find an article that actually recommends it as a treatment before touting it as one.

reading the articles: the second mentions the possibility of it being a treatment, but also notes that the required levels to have an effect are 35x higher than FDA approved levels for humans, and when absorbed by the body isn't delivered to the places that need it, which means people would require even higher dosage levels to achieve the level of ivermectin in order to have an effect. taking it as-is is like taking bleach - in testing it kills covid, so technically it'll help kill covid, but it'll also kill you before it has any effect on covid.
