Also, if the police decide to kill others for no reason, then yes, they can get banned because that's freekilling.
That almost never actually happens since the police are hand-picked by the admins. But yeah, Kreon and Frankie frown on cops randomly murdering people.
So lemme get this story straight, Cavik, you saw CapTMeaT kill somebody on the Madmen campus, so you went to investigate and got shot by the same guy, so you got a C4 charge and came back and blew him up?
To explain the ban in full detail because I don't think I have, there's three rules that were broken there. Rule #1 being no random deathmatching. The point of the server, a " Community RP", is to be partly about citybuilding and the other half being character development and interaction. There are groups of people with complex stories such as the Madmen Corp. that help make the server have a bit more depth.
We don't like people killing each other too much because that's not what the server is about. We don't outright make killing players against the rules because that removes that element from the server. Instead, the admins opt to ban people who (seemingly) attack people for no reason.
Rule #2 is the "New life" rule, which dictates that if you die, you cannot come back to the spot you died. Since this a roleplay, and you're supposed to act out your role, it wouldn't make in-universe logical sense to know where you last 'died'. This is partly to keep the roleplay from being too confusing and partly to keep people who want to exact revenge from RDMing.
Rule #3 is the "No revenge killing" rule, in which we really, really want to discourage people from getting upset and keeping grudges against people outside of the roleplay. There have been a handful of people who were banned because they took the game too seriously, ruining other people's fun. If you didn't read the rules, it's understandable that it may seem bullstuff to be banned for as long as you were. I can talk to the admins about shortening your ban if you really wanted to play on the server.
