So being several states away, things weren't communicated to me in real time. I posted this after I was informed they had made the decision to take him off life support, but they arranged for him to be an organ donor and let him into hospice care so that he could pass on his own time. I found out just this morning that has now departed.

Ah no way that's awful. I was literally looking through my steam friends a few days ago and saw he'd been offline for 8 years and wondered what he was up to.

I sincerely hope they find the people who did it and they never see light again.
