In a cognitive development sense, it could be referred to as "theory of mind", where kids up to a certain age aren't able to conceptualize that other people have different information than them.
example, they see you have a box of goldfish crackers, and see you put in some gummy bears, then ask them what their friend would think is in the box. Up to a certain age, the kid would say gummy bears like it is obvious even though there is no way their friend would know this, but around 5 or so the kid would understand that their friend didn't have that information and would incorrectly assume the box has goldfish crackers in it
