The available rooms of this one hotel (according to PAX) allows up to 4 guests, otherwise i'm paying a couple hundreds for a 4-guest room for just myself

Unfortunately all of the hotels the PAX site has listed have sold out now, which now leaves me in a predicament as well, but there's a lot of other hotels in the area that are <$400 that they may not have had listed that i'd certainly be willing to pay a night for at least 2 guests for

Yeah, took a bit to get back to you, but all the discounted hotels recommend by PAX sold out, and now a relative of mine has worked out a good deal for me under their account

i booked an airbnb like in december for this and the hotels were pretty sold out even then.

you might be able to get a deal if you dont mind commuting to the convention centre the day of. i think the reason they recommend those hotels is because they are literally right next to the convention right?

conventions in general are made for people with suspicious sources of income and a massive fixation on buying merch

So this was my first time travelling out of state, going on trains, and going to PAX, but it all went really smoothly and i and everyone else had a fun time, yay!
