Tony you're the one that said doing that made you a child enthusiast

Where I said that?

I'm pointing out a double standard that I can't make a learing center but I can make LGBT furries making out. How is one of these things acceptable and the other isn't?

What's giving me creep behavior from mathew is the fact he is defending it as "kissing" and that kids should be allowed to see it. That's weird he wants kids to see it that bad.

This isn't simple kissing it's LGBT furries making out and groping each other, kids do not need to see that.
Do you know what message board you're posting on and what kids who grew up here had to see? Far worse than gay furries, that's for sure

Not to say that any of the obviously 'suggestive' or 'blatantly horny' stuff that people build in Brickadia without any filter, moderation, or forewarning is in any way okay, but you're throwing stones from inside a glass house, man

You know I was a kid myself right?

On top of that I am not defending this stuff and claiming kids should be allowed to see it because it's "normal"

I'm just pointing out a double standard and you people are doubling down saying the furries kissing are fine, the jokes are not.

Either we come to an agreement that the "starfish jokes" AND the gay furry stuff is unacceptable.

or both are allowed

You can't tell me a "learing center" is too far meanwhile furries kissing is perfectly fine.

This is a double standard.

The creep stuff is the context of what mathew is saying.

He's trying to normalize this and claiming kids should be allowed to see it because it's just "normal kissing in public"

That's weird and unhinged.

I will reiterate that servers should have some kind of forewarning for what exists on a server, or else little Timmy gets the slipper/wooden spoon, but there's a reason why online play of any game was never rated by the ESRB

It's up to the parents to monitor what their child does online and no one should have to adhere to any kind of puritanical rules in a game all about doing and creating whatever you want

Just look at games like Garry's Mod (specifically RP servers), Minecraft, Roblox (especially Roblox), VR Chat (especially especially VR Chat), kids are all over that game and going places and interacting with people they shouldn't due to a lack of parental monitoring

I do agree there needs to be a NSFW tag or something it's not just kids playing these games.

they are marketed to kids but a large amount of adults work with lego also.

It doesn't make sense for them to ban people for content on their own server especially with low amount of players. As long as nothing illegal is going on it should be fine.

I understand if you're uploading content to the shared world list, but your own server should be up to the host

I think the game Webfishing had some kind of tagging system for the more 'adult oriented' servers (even if not actually NSFW, but just meant as a hangout for adults), but i don't see the Brickadia devs going that route with their game that feels like they're trying to appeal to absolutely everyone, but it should be more normalized to at least put a [TAG] at the start of your server name so people looking for servers to join know what to expect beforehand

I know i said earlier about how people shouldn't have to adhere to puritanical rules, but tagging your server like you're your own ESRB won't kill you

Well they need to tone down the censorship at least.

Or at least make the censorship equal on both right and left political spectrums instead of one sided.

I do warn people I don't censor my chat. I'm not doing anything crazy but I don't want to risk 30 dollars over jokes either.

You should tag your server name with [RACISM] :cookie:

agreed let's ban depictions of heteroloveual affection

Basically my thoughts on this whole debacle. I feel like tony's overblowing the whole 'gay furries kissing' thing when that's literally all over the internet and always has been. Nothing stopping a curious child from stumbling upon 4chan because they read a funny greentext. But also 'zomalian learning center' is such a whatever joke that I'm surprised anyone would get heated over it.

It really ought to just be "if you don't like what's in the server, just leave."

You do realize 98% of the world is straight right?

It's not the gay furry stuff I'm having an issue with it's the double standard censorship

If the game is so awful then why are you so sad that you can't be a tribal little stuff there. You have plenty of room here for that
