When I pee in my own house, the real issue is not touching my rooster but touching the flusher on the toilet. If I sit down to pee, which I always do at home as I believe it is the superior option as several others in this thread have argued, I do not need to touch my floppy dong at all. I do, however, have to flush the toilet. Some would argue you don't need to flush after a humble, non-fecal piss, but the people I live with are very concerned with cleanliness and would be upset with me if I were to "let it mellow," so to speak. The flusher is even less sanitary than my dangling participle because people wipe their starfishs after stuffting and then touch it immediately after. So if I want to avoid needing to wash my hands, that means I need to fold up a paper towel or tissue to flush the toilet without touching it with my bare hands. Which creates the ethical issue of wasting paper products unnecessarily. However, washing my hands when it is avoidable is a waste of water and soap. There is simply no way to piss ethically. It is inherently filthy and sinful.
