My sons started playing RuneScape after hearing about it at school.

I was so embarrassed for them that I started googling for something decent they could play.

It's always nice for parents to get interested in the games their kids play.
Hey, at least it's a kid-friendly game and not some FPS killer type game.

A front page story on Digg.com a few years ago was about Blockland.  I figured I would try it out and here I am.

One day I went to a website called addictinggames
I clicked on a game called stick RPG
a year later I went to another website called xgenstudios
I saw stick RPG and decided to play it
I then started to fall in love with all of their other games
One day I checked the forums
there was a topic about a website so I went to the website
I saw blockland
clicked it
played demo for like 2 months
got it

I found out about Blockland while browsing through ROBLOX videos.
I couldn't afford $20 so I was stuck to the demo (which since I was playing ROBLOX at the time seemed wonderful). And then a Christmas miracle happened and I got a $50 gift card which I used to buy Blockland via Paypal.

I believe there was a sensation about blockland in GBS after it showed up on the screen savers.  Much of the early v002 BL community actually came from SA.

Now I've got a loungeroom full of kids coming around to check out this Blockland game they've heard about at school. I can rarely get within 10 feet of my own pc!

If you guys read this clearly, he doesn't play blockland. His kids found out about Runescape and they must of told him so he did a smart thing and looked up something better so his kids wouldn't grow up playing that junk. So he stumbled upon this for his kids. Note those key words. For his kids.

Look through her posts, she claims to be the mother of a 9 year old who is addicted to Blockland just as much as she is.
