Author Topic: Asus eeepc problems!  (Read 1911 times)

Hey guys, i recently purchased an asus eeepc, the other day i tried installing blockland on it and it worked, but then it comes to setting user input i.e keyboard and mouse config, it just stops and repeats that over and over again.

can anyone help me with this? is this just to do with the eeepc? or is it a problem other laptop users have had?

did you keep on leaving blockland or Alt+Tab ing?

I just left it to itself and it wont boot up into the game!

No its just a cheap, small laptop that was meant for things like internet browsing and word. It fails at games.

Is it linux or windows xp verson?

Yur naem sound like a adukt videos plxce

I think its a windows vista.

Vista will kill it. Install XP or dont bother with games!

Intel GMA on the EEE should work satisfactory for Blockland- Run at VGA (640x480) and get an external mouse, of possible.

Your problem might be related to permissions issues with Vista. Right click Blockland, and "Run as Admin". Hope that helps!

Well its running windows xp pro sp3, and its probably more powerful than some peoples computers here, i have 2gb of ram and the processor running at 1.1ghz, im sure it can run blockland well enough, its not exactly crysis im trying to play now is it?

I doubt its hardware related, but it just wont boot up

I doubt that your Eee pc has 2 GB of ram because according to its product pace, the most ram you can have installed on one is 1 GB. You probably just have the version with 512 MB ram and a 2 GB SSD, but I don't see how that would be the cause of you problem though. Here is the product page if nobody believes me : http://eeepc.asus.com/global/product.htm

well i bought the 4g version which allowed me to upgrade my ram from 512mb to 2gb, i bought a 2gb stick from ebuyer for 30 quid, i m also adding  touch screen, 16gb internal usb space, bluetooth and gps myself.

well anyways i still cant get blockland to bloody run, think its a screen res issue :-(
