Author Topic: Aphtonites MotE App No. 2!  (Read 4360 times)

After Dante tried to encourage me to make a new one, I decided yes and set work on a build called "The two islands DM"
I am not sure if it is good enough or not, But this is nearly my best skills on details

And yes ,It is made for DM's, And the bridge is great for close combat!
And yes, It is small. I did not want it to be so big because that wasn't the point of it

Macro-spam, not original, not much potential.
I vote no.

Needs moar base like things.

5/10

A bit small (from what I can tell) and a little under detailed, the cliff sides and pit's edges looks macro'd and I have no idea why the grass jets from the sides. You're cool and all but I doubt this is nearly good enough.

Not that great, but not too bad, either.

Needs moar.

Ugh, Another "No"
I better make another App now, Unless everybody hates me

Get better at building before you try again.

I admit, I am probably never going to get better than this
No-Body has actually taught me anything useful in building,
We need moar building tutors

I don't think any of the MotE members got special tutoring, nurturing, love and compassion from benevolent builders.

what you need to do is first look at the accomplished builds the other people did, then, NOT EXACTLY DUPLICATING IT but attempt to rebuild that style and/or same design without looking at it, keep doing this till you can memoriz good designs and also learn the basics like no squere builds and try not to wand/macro alot.

There is nothing to teach. You either are creative, or not. I find that it is impossible to 'become' talented on Blockland. You are always limited to your imagination. As I've progressed, the only things that have improved is the speed at which I lay bricks and the ambition of my projects. I still have the same mindset and imagination as I did when I first downloaded the game.

Oh, and nobody hates you, that's a silly comment to make. People don't sympathise with self-pity, it just makes you look worse. Play to have fun, not to become popular and get in a good clan.

Holy stuff Sniff's alive.

The way I learned to build was offline. I went online, picked up some new tricks by observing really good builders, tried them out offline. Also I tried to copy real life as detailed as possible. Thats how you get in MotE, hard work, dont expect anything from others. Work, work, work and moar work.

I was horrible when I first started to play BL. In my opinion, I've become a better builder. xD

And I like this 7.5/10. But not quite MotE material, as you've already found out  :cookieMonster:
