I can view it with barely any lag. hahahahhaha,
i'd lag when i had windows with 32k bricks :D
if anyone doesn't belive me i'll try to record a video

I DOUST NOT BELIVEITH THY HEATHAN ASPARITIONS

And no i do not know what asparitions means

Tried Linux, broke my add-ons after I did everything to make them work, went back to Windows.

I'm using Kubuntu beta 8.04 or 7.10 :D
KDE ftw.

What happened to your addons?

whats a OS have to do with brick lag? seems such a lame thing to be concerned about when average comp specs can whip out 128k bricks

What you say is impossible. There is a built in limit of 128000 bricks.

I am always looking for ways to go over the limit. and ive found ways. ive had near 500k bricks on screen, before blockland blew up on me.

the game dont really want to support more bricks, it gets its crash-on. or other random errors and problems

anyways to get over the limit makes the game unstable and unplayable anyway :(

Irk got it working, but when I'd add certain Add-Ons, it would break all of them, so I just went back to Windows and everything works fine now.

For all we know you could have made it one huge cube of 1x1's, which barely causes lag anyways.

Betcha wont get above 5 fps from Chideo City.

Try looking in Advanced Config.

i had 25K bricks once

Highest I can go up to on my laptop is 8k...

Yeah the client runs flawlessly, it even runs perfect if the actual blockland process runs on another machine on the network but uses the local graphics card. (That's no news that the superior memory management and scheduling affects wine as well)

However, getting the server to run on a vserver is quite some effort and requires too much maintenance (It's weird, unlike other windows dedicated server software (hlds.exe, il2 sturmovik) the dedicated server process seems to need a graphics device which is not accessible from a vserver without forwarding), so that i decided to wait until a solution arises.
