My Pc Wont Turn On

Hi,

if this is in the wrong topic, can somebody please move it. this isent abuot blockland i just need some help.

im re-building my old pc. putting in new graphics cards, fans and the like but, when i come to turn it on it doesent do it. a LED light lights up inside the pc so there is power going into it.

i have tryed fixing the power button on it to see if that would work...no luck.

please help!

p.s. my pc woulent turn on before i started fixing it. thats one of the reasons i decided to rebuild it.

p.p.s me and physical aspects go together like chalk and cheeze so pls no big words hehe :D

I Think so...If the light is lit up on the mobo when i plug it in so i think it is...

Not sure if this has anything to do with it but when I tried making my computer, I had to buy a new battery for my motherboard. Even though the computer normally gets electricity from the wall, you need to use the motherboard's battery first.

i thought the motherboard battery just keeps the clock running while its turned off?

ok no worries anymore...i just blew the whole thing up....700 pounds down the pan...lol :(
