Author Topic: To Many Add-Ons?  (Read 1911 times)

Is it possible that i downloaded so many mods and stuff that now they don't show up on my check off list? i tried downloading Sniffs "light 50" which i do know how to install mods but now the mods don't show up.

i think there was a limit.
but i would be very scared to meet the guy that has reached it. for god's sake i would not join that server lol. i just imagine the spam and stupid stuff going on.

ya, eventhough i didn't look around, i think i did reach the limit because half my mods were "unactivated" or were not checked off. So to lower complexity i decided to have TWO blockland folders, one for "Building" or "City" stuff and the other for "War".

@Sniff: Ya, i attempted to download the burret but didn't show up, don't worry, i redownloaded it on my new blockland and it showed up.

lol, forgot to mention that the 50 is lovey, great work Sniff

BTW: Music files count as add-ons? (I know theres a diffrence but would the engien count it as a add-on?)

and i attempted to look for add-on limit but was harrased by the mods

You can find out if you're overrunning the limit by doing this in the console:

Code: [Select]
echo(DataBlockGroup.getCount());
and if its at 2048, you're overrunning it.

OMFG
2046/2048

LMFAO, so close?

well to my bro when he put to many in  something would pop up on the screen and say something. I don't really remember what it said.  :cookieMonster:

I've hit it, and My server was an easy joiner.

isn't overload something bad? like server crash or Lag?

It crashes your server at random, and it messes with you clan tags.

tails hit datablock limit a while ago i deleted some add ons but im not sure if i fixed it as i not played for a week or so

I'd say vehicles were the biggest consumer of datablocks - when people make vehicles they just copy and paste all the jeep emitters, thats about 15 datablocks that are identical to existing ones. Disable some of the crappy vehicles and you'll be ok. 2046/2048 is a pretty unsafe level of datablocks to be hosting with, I think.

1584, because I turn things off that I know I won't be using. I do have a fair amount of tools, and scripts for various purposes though.
