New map ( city roads )

Author Topic: New map ( city roads )  (Read 2132 times)

I was hoping someone could make a new map. I just need it for some city builds. If you want to create it  reply or pm pls. My Name on Blockland is -X-.

I was thinking it could be roads, with room with 32x32 plates for buildings houses ect.  You could probably take slate, and change the floor up a bit.

Right now im really bored of having to make the own roads.

If you could make it it would be greatz. Thankz Byez

I thought of doing this as a part of a giant pack allong with other slate maps with brick textures.  Then I realized something: I would never use it.  Most builds are on baseplates, having a baseplate like slate would cause people to not build on baseplates.  This causes many problems.  For one, it makes admin clean-up exponentially longer.  Another is that it allows people to spam inside building.

i thought this was a good idea

Ya. Either of you two ( first two replys ) interested in making it?

i can't make it my computer cant use the mission editor

Oh well. Thanks for looking tho :-)

:cookie:  <- for ppl who look

But seriosly, if anyone wants to do the map, reply and say i wanna do the map and pm me pls

I really do not beleive you know what slate edits are. Slate edits are the basic ivisible slate interior with an altered watertexture placed underneath for the illusion of ground. The reason for this is that it is much less laggy, much less glitchy, and requires much less loading than a flat terrain. Water textures could be used to make the roads like you want them, but the fact that doing such a thing would be so impractical, anyone who is actually capable of doing it correctly will most likely elect not to.
