Never Surrender
I was bored, alright? It's a game I've been paliyng around with for a bit, enjoy.
Main Story Line

Summary
You wake up. You get hired by some guy, for some reason, but to prove it you Must kill someone. You don't. Person you don't kill is friend. He is part of resistance (read background). You work to get rid of corrupt dictatorship. You get brought into secret underground “resistance”. You go to ISS. You find iron suit. ISS gets shot down. You land in dessert (again, see background). You get back to city. You fight the people fighting the underground resistance. You kill their leader. All is happy.

This is the extreame summary. Now for the background.\

Background
It's the year 2201. The world is comparably peaceful, but not for long. On the two hundredth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the twin towers, all hell breaks lose. Terrorists (achally, no one  knows, but it is believed that this is who did it), have come in possesion of a type of bomb that has been known for some time, yet never used. It is called the EMP (electro magnetic pulse, it is real, google it). This destroys all circuitry. The terrorists use 15 of them throughout the world, destroying all technology. This causes a massive war. Country after country fights each other. Alliances are destroyed, billions are killed, huge cities of millions burn to the ground. Experimental weapons are launched, leaving the world a barren wasteland of sand, full of half destroyed cities, raging maniacs, and trigger happy people. The year is now 2253. Go back to the year 2198. Fedrick Dato, an astounding mathematician, discovers the most inconvenient truth of them all. The terrorists are in possession of large numbers of EMP bombs. He attempts to warn the world, getting more scorn then fear. Correctly fearing the worst, he goes to a remote location (arizonia), and buries large amounts of technology deep within the earth. He waits, it is now 2200. on September 11, 2201, his fears become true. Millions of people, most of whom laughed at him, flock to the last remaining city with any sort of technology. As the world burns, his city, Dato, thrives. Fast forward to the year 2500. A power hungry mafia boss takes over the city. He eased himself in, buying out people, and using force when necessary. He establishes dictatorial rule, and soon has then entire city under his thumb. Of course there are resistance groups, but he bairly notices them, as they are so small. And if one of them dares to try to do something, they would be whipped out. This is where the game starts out.

Game start
nothing. Blackness. You vision flickers with random colors and pictures. A darkers screen appears, in the corner VISUAL ONLINE_(_ flashes)
then, after a second or two, some static, then AUTO ONLINE_(_flashes)
A green line appears on the screen.
Suddenly the lines moves (in a sound curry way), and you hear a voice.(the voice is read almost as if she[it's a girls voice]is reading from a script)
Hello, I would like to say sorry for this slightest of inconveniences, but we need to use you, to accomplish what we need. You may be unhappy, mad even, with us, but that will soon pass, and you will understand. An what is life without understanding, may I ask. I will see you in the future, Dim, until then, have fun in this new reality, good luck remembering anything, anything at all.
(the player's name is Dim Berskly)
the green line, and the words dissappear, and slowly you hear someone say (in a slowly loundening voice) Wake up, goddamn it, get the hell up! (your eyes open to someone shaking you). He then says “Ah, thank god, now get up and follow me, you're bail just got paid, although I'm not surprised.” “where am I?” “your in the jail, Idiot!” “Wha?”, “shut up!”You get up, and the game starts. (a lot of the time I will say things like (you follow him), but in realisty, you are free to just stand there.) you follow him up a flight of stairs, into a little office area, where a small man and two large guards are waiting for you. “Ah, Mr. Berskly, I was wondering when you would join us. Now, follow me, I have a little....thought?... Opportunity?...Investment?....Ah, it doesn't matter. We'll just walk to my building, if you don't mind.” You walk through the grimmy-ish streets of what appears to be an extensively boarded up city. (During this time, you learn how to walk, sprint, jump, crouch, activate, exc.) Eventually you arrive at a large building, colored a disgusting shade of green, no windows except a large bank on the top floor, with a huge blue tint. You walking into a nice lobby, and go into a large elevator, guarded by large amounts of guards. On the top story you walk into a office, blinds covering a large bank of windows. The man sits down and so do you. He says “I am in need of your services. Recently my rule has come under....consideration? Violence?...I'm never able to find the right word. However, I need you to fix that for me, how does that sound?” you say “What's in it for me?” He responds “As soon as I die, you take over, that's alright with you?” “k” “Good! Now, there's a man down in the lobby, can't miss him, he's one of the specks of dirt that's wearing down the gears of this...city. One of my trusted associates will hand you a knife. If you alleviate the pain that he is, I'll be sure to trust you. Good bye.” As you walk out, a large man gives you a very small knife, and says “good luck”. You walk into the elevator, and it begins to descend. As it decends, the same voice as the beginning, talks to you “The future is now in your hands. If you chose to ignore this gift that I have given you, this great gift if forget, then much more will be lost. If you want this to be so, kill the man. If you wish for the world to end up better, then save him, let him recognize you. Follow him.” You go downstairs, and (this is the part where the game splits off into two different places, I'll deal with the fun part first) go somewhere in front of him. He says “Dim? Is that you? YOUR COMING WITH ME!”. He grabs you, and pulls you out to the frunt of the building, where a red convertible waits for you. You pushes you into the frunt passenger sait, he jumps in the car, and the car starts driving.

Part 2-Resistance?

(I'll fill this out later)

So, how good is the background/beginning of the game? It gets better (train chases, blowing up helecopters “iron man suits” exc.

The background isn't flimsy at all!... I mean terrorists ALWAYS have the most advanced weaponry known to man before any other nation and can easily deploy it, right?

It would either be:
1) Another Grand Theft Auto clone.
2) A railroad shooter.
3) A game that forces you foward in some other way.
Too much story, it would be a better movie than a game in ways.

Sounds like the Jak and Daxter series but modified to be less cartoony.

Oh yeah, and why does the other character (The one who bailed you out I think?) always have to yell or cuss at you?

I had about ten hours to think up this game. So it does have a massive story line. Also, I had thought out the baud basics about five years ago, so it copies few.
