Tom

I think its very biased.

Yes.

All these comparisons he was making was about hardware and exclusive games and sales mainly.

Hardware : Ps3 beats xbox360, you can't argue with that.
Exclusive Games: WHO CARES IF IT'S EXCLUSIVE. If let's just take for example GTA4, well from what I've heard about online and things, the xbox360 version is better.
Also the Sales was the most biased thing.
like it was
PS3 :  3.6 million sold.
X360: 2.4 million sold.

One, the xbox360 has been out for so much longer that, everyone has one already, so why would they buy it again?

And now the ps3's are getting sold, but they're just comparing the sales for a couple of months.

Maybe they should look at overall?

Xbox360 : 18.91 MILLION
PS3 : Sadly, 12.63 million

Now game sales. I'm gonna add up the top #10 sales of both systems.
Xbox 360 : 41.69 MILLION game sales.
PS3 : 22.8 million.  That's like just 54.6% of xbox 360's total.

I think its very biased.
You're a moron.
Yeah, because facts can be biased.

PS3 :  3.6 million sold.
X360: 2.4 million sold.

/facepalm

The Xbox has been out longer, thus more people could buy it over a  longer period of time, not to mention price drops.
I'm sure the way he looked on it is take the first month the PS3 came out and then look at the Xbox sales after that month.
Now, again, that isn't really the right method. You would need to take the first month of the PS3's release and up until now, calculate how many days past, and apply the same value starting from the Xbox 360's release date.

Now game sales. I'm gonna add up the top #10 sales of both systems.
Xbox 360 : 41.69 MILLION game sales.
PS3 : 22.8 million.  That's like just 54.6% of xbox 360's total.
The PS3 doesn't have that many games yet. Wait until the release of MGS4, KH3 and a few more famous titles that people will kill for.

Well, if the hardware is better, the it actually is better and think of it, how many PS3's have broken? Not HALF as many as there's Xbox's bbroken.

Xbox360 : 18.91 MILLION
PS3 : Sadly, 12.63 million
Microsoft considers a unit sold upon its arrival at a store. Sony considers a unit sold when it is given to the customer. So there are at least 2 million of those Xbox 360 units in storage that haven't been technically sold yet. Also, Xbox360 has been out for a year more than the PS3, and already the PS3 is gaining on them.

Sorry guys.

Obviously it'll be better for the Xbox 360 because that's the console it was developed for [correct me if I'm wrong, but that was the impression given off of the comments on that site]. Ports are usually crappier. It's like comparing MGS3 to a port of MGS3 for the Xbox (Like that'll ever happen) Point is, the Xbox version will be crappier.

Also, that wasn't the point of this whole argument. The PS3's capabilities go beyond those of the Xbox 360. The hardware is better, just because the developer doesn't fully utilize the hardware doesn't mean that it sucks compared to inferior hardware which was used to it's best.

Then why hasn't that happened yet.

PS3 doesnt count as a real console.

PS3 doesnt count as a real console.
Why exactly doesn't it count as a console?

Its a computer, people buy it for the sake of installing linux on it, people use it for windows xp, its gone beyond the "console" brand, Sony should just make computers. The PS3s capabilities are so minor-in-difference that no one cares to pay 100$ more for almost no noticeable difference, and the stupid red ring of death doesn't happen if you just don't waste away your life on the thing.

This will be my last post here, console wars aren't worth it.
