I joined but it is barely using any resources on my computer. I have a dual core 3.0 ghz processor. I expected it to be faster. Any fixed I should try?

Also, why are you willing to accept the exact same idea just by a different person/company. That software does almost exactly what I had in mind for Unity.

Because it is a college, that already did it, for CALCULATIONS!  For forgets sake, do you really think you will pull that off?  A couple of little kids on the block thinking they can code, if they just think about it, really, it is harder than just that, and who would donate computing power for a game?  This is for a good cause, handicap.

That was exactly what I was suggesting. You could use the network of linked computers to render the environment and calculate the physics.

Anyways, I see how you guys look at new ideas. If it's by someone you don't like, it's automatically bad for no valid reason, and no one will accept it. Then another person can come along and suggest the exact same idea, and you will gladly accept it. I find it funny. :D
