"please no noobs in here"

Some servers nowadays are really hypocritical inb4criticalhippo. Just earlier I came across a "Cops and roberers" server with "please no noobs in here" written in the server name.


A "NO BE NOOB OR BAN" server and "AIM NOT NOOB OR BAN" also cropped up during my travels.

This is annoying. Stop it.[/b]

This post isn't directed to anyone in this thread. I just want to say...

I wish the whole "noob" thing would just stop. I think it's a little, ok very stupid to hate on someone because they are new to the game. We were ALL new at one time, I'm still new. But why would one care? I can understand if someone new is acting like they know everything and is all around being a prick. But i've seen players with rather low ID's who've acted just as idiotic as someone new to the game.

 I agree with the first post, people who make servers like that are stupid. And need to get out more. If all this nonsense would stop we'd have a friendly and much larger community. I've played some online rpgs and left promptly because of the pisspoor, hateful community flaming you because you're say.. Level 1 through 10. As if they started the game at max level or something. Gimme a break.

It's not that they're new, it's more of the way they act.
Being new to a game or a forum isn't a reason for you to act like a total idiot that just fell from the bar stool. Ok, bad implementation, but you get the idea.
