I should have forseen this..

Hahahaha

This is why we nickname dwarves only after we embark, otherwise we get lovey female impersonators.

Dangit!

I'm best with mechanisms, I wanted to create an automagic fish capturer.

No big river, though, so... D:

Hope for an underwater river to pop up then.

The Second Day
Not too eventful of a day.
The first thing I did after the dwarves awoke is set the miner to finishing the rooms, which did not take too long.
An alligator came to the area for some time and moved at a quick pace, which worried me while it was there. I challenged myself to trap the Giant Eagle once it reappeared, and so it did. I had almost caught it but it was not to be.
I mined out the passage to the brook from the empty lake and filled it.

While it was filling my miner almost drowned himself, but I was able to carve a staircase out right as the water reached neck height. Currently the fortress rooms have all been carved for now but I still have to finish the farm irrigation system and the well. It is summer now and I must construct a trade depot soon. The tomb needs engravings aswell. Heres how stockpiles are at the end of the day:

I'll take my turn after dUMBELLS has finished, also I'd like to be the miner.

You can name him when your turn comes if he is still availible. Remember, migrants.

Is there a source of sand in the region?

how can you understand these pictures? they just confusing

They're not confusing, they broadcast their message without flaw.

whats the yellow stuff?
whats the grey stuff?
whats the purple 2

The yellow divide symbols are barrels, the grey ='s are stockpiling area and the rest of the grey is stone. The little purple 2 is vermin remains.

better? (it was saved as .jpeg so thats why its so grainy)

I don't see the water from the ground level images.

Is it all underground?

Is there a source of sand in the region?
I'll check, day three is coming soon.
Also stop the chattery about graphic packs, I don't care if you use them or not but I like to keep it plain. Also: We are using Monties stuff but you just need the melons.
