I bought the retail version about 2 days ago and have been working on this ever since. This is my first build ever so go easy on me.

Basically I wanted to build a snowy castle so I chose the slopes map and found a nice flat area beside a lake to build.� So far all I've got done is some walls, a jail and one level of a guard house.

Here is a view coming towards the gate:

I hope to have the guard house done soon, I will update as I go.
Ill also attach the blocks save for the slopes map.

EDIT: The area where I built is kinda hard to find. Load the blocks first then turn around till you see a vehicle spawn. If you head down the mountain� to the right of that spawn you'll see the lake.

Yeah, for a first build you can do better than Hundreds of other people, all they create is spam, I once seen a building with a transparent roof?

Rate: 6/10 (I don't think the bricks with an "X" in the middle suit the style, obviolsy your not gonna get a 10/10 for a first build, but yeah its good.

Good job on your first build, you probably wouldn't want to see my first build. For your first build i give it a 8/10, if it was like your 10th, 6/10.

It's looking very nice so far. Just make sure you make the keep (or town) inside the walls nice and detailed.

Thanks, as I go I keep getting tips and learning new tricks so by the time I get to the keep it should be pretty good I hope.

I used to play with lego like a crazy person when I was a kid so I have some experience. This is just way cheaper than buying those box sets lol.
