Ok, but most of the problem I think is that the server browser (not the in-game one, but I tried it and it doesn't work either.) can't find the ip2c.dll, and it exists. It's in the same folder too, so..

Try deleting it, If that does not work redownload, Might be corrupted or something

DAMMIT, it still won't work. I am so close to getting ZDaemon that it's not even funny....I'm gonna install all of the crap on my laptop and see if it works, just to make sure that it isn't this computer. I really wanted to use a mouse, though. And no, I don't have a usb mouse and i'm not going to buy one, either.

Yeah, it's picking up servers on the laptop; it didn't ask to allow the program to gain access to the internet on the Vista, probably because OneCare is disabled and I need to restart.

Ok, I got it working on my normal computer, now I just need to figure out how to download stuff from servers like wads so I can join them.

you normally download the wads from the servers when you connect to them, but sometimes (and this is rare) you don't

This happens on both computers, by the way.

Every time I join a server, it says "Level Authentication Failed. Please make sure you are using the exact same wad(s) as the server, and try again."


EDIT: I got it to download all of the wads automatically, but the above happens even though I download all of the wads.

I love DooM, I got "The Ultimate DooM for win95" from my big sisters ex-boyfriend :D, I play it wit zDoom mod and Chillstream game-pad.

Btw, anyone played "Classic Doom 3", great mod on Doom 3 that has recreated "Knee deep in dead" on Doom 3 engine.

Normal, and just join and it will download, also did Badspot take your edit button away? and at the level error, i think Freedoom does not work actually.... but DooM II is only 10$ on steam, might want to get it (also DooM II is what most people are using BTW)

FreeDoom is lousy, and the guy who made The Ultimate Chex Quest started on The People's Doom, but never finished it.
