need help getting blockland to run

i am having a rather annoying problem. blockland will not run, whatsoever. i had run older versions before, and they worked fine. i have tried many things to get this new version to work, i have downloaded it, re-downloaded it, patched with the latest patch, tried running in all compatability modes (as it works for my brother's windows 98 computer) and downloaded my new video drivers, re-installed multiple times, but still i get the same error messege:

Blockland.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.
and of course the send or dont send error report.
no dos prompt comes up even, the error is the only thing i get when trying to run blockland. T_T
 i have even deleted my older versions of blockland, just in case of conflicting stuff, but now i wish i had backed it up first -_-
what am i doing wrong? is there any hope for me?
i am running a 1ghz processor, nvidia GeForce2 mx/mx400, and 768Mb of ram

so..... why is it that an actual problem takes more than a day with no response, when people will immediately respond to someone who just didnt search, just to tell them how stupid they are? kthnx, forums. -_-

again guys, i REALLY need help! please post anything you think might be helpful that i could try. and also, yes, i have the most up to date drivers available from nvidia.

You did not say what operating system you have. Also with a computer as slow as yours you will barely be able to run blockland. I have tried with that graphics card and a processor that fast.

yeah, i understand it'll run pretty slow, but it is within minimum specs, and id rather it run slowly than not at all. help plox.

cant remember which version. but it was in 2006. but that shouldnt matter, cos my bros comp is about the same specs as mine, but his runs wonderfully

That actually does matter because now there are many changes/upgrades to the game engine. Also is your brothers computer running the newest version of blockland?

yes, latest version is what my brother is running. but i was running the latest version back in late 2006 as i recall.

Blockland in 2006 was very different from what it is now. As I already said there have been many engine changes.

i have version 9 and mine works but when i play it, it will turn off my computer or restart my computer i also need help i posted a help message today so i hope the problem will get fixed
