http://www.destructoid.com/rumortoid-mega-man-9-in-the-works-spacecat-tells-all-90027.phtml - For those of you who have checked out Destructoid's story here, then you know what this will officially mean: Capcom is FINALLY gonna give us MegaMan 9, but it's gonna be available as DLC and Retail. The Retail version will be on the Wii, because of the limitations of File Size on WiiWare. The DLC Editions will be on XBox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network. The game itself is gonna have the following:

- New Characters
- Online Multiplayer
- Leaderboards
- and quite possibly 8 Brand New Robot Masters, some of which may have been designed by fans.

The Patent was registered on Australia's OFLC, but it's possibly still a rumor. Nonetheless, the Fight For Everlasting Peace CONTINUES!!

Thank goodness its retro. It will give them more time to think about the design and such instead of getting obsessed with making the graphics look "uberpwnage"(a trap that many developers get caught in)
