You could still have adverts. Just have banners and crap. You could even do miniblogs where the creator/owner writes a paragraph and provides some pictures or something to really advertise their clan/server/mod.

I think a blog is a great idea, it allows for more content on a regular basis.

I was wondering if anyone would prefer Blok to be a blog. Its just a thought that sprung to my mind, nothing serious here (unless the scales tip and everyone votes yes).

Pros:
- Quicker news
- Updates weekly
- Commenting on articles
- No big downloads
- Selected staff members posting

Cons:
- No more free advertising
- No more comics, jokes, ect.
- Certain staff may be...sacked. D:

The idea sounds fine, it's just I want to advertise my thing as much as possible, you know? I'm going to have to vote no, sorry for all the "Yes" people.

Sacking staff? If anything, blogging should increase your staff. You should get more editors and writers to produce a constant stream of content. Maybe the layout editors get axed because the blogging software handles that, but you can always get them to write things.

You can still run free advertising, you can still run comics, you can still run jokes.

Some of my staff are hopeless at writing...I won't say names. But I get your point wedge.

I could still have comics, I guess. But it would look a bit weird. Maybe in the future..if it goes through.
I guess I could still do advertising...but only good ones. I dont want the site cluttered with crappy ads.
