When I came on this morning about 30 min to do the regular splash check I've been doing this week, I shat bricks. This is amazing news!

I looked into a lot of the speculations about that splash screen, at least after I went into the page source and found the master.css file and those pictures. Blizzard's great for this stuff.

On the blizz website the "top secret MMO" is still under development, you realize this means that Blizzard is developing WoW:WLK, Starcraft II, Diablo III, and a next gen MMO, all at the same time.

They have different teams working on different games.

On a Gamespot video interview they said that Diablo 3 has been undergoing development for the last 3 years. Most of the classes are playable and they have already got act 1 playable. Mostly the development of the game now is just making the content.

I have even heard they have got multi payer working. :o

They better not make it suck. I heard that Blizzard had split up the Diablo II team after they finished LoD, and if they didn't bring them back together for this I predict bad things.

Very excited though.

Very excited though.

And that split sent most of the members off to create Hellgate, and we all know how that turned out.

I really like how this game looks so far. Reminds me of the old Diablo 2, only in 3D. The trailers also seem to be pretty action-packed, so it will hopefully deliver something a bit more intense then a typical hack and slash.

Basically it was a buggy mess with stuffty content, it also had allot of limits unless you paid monthly or some stuff.
