Author Topic: v9 - Music limitations  (Read 1950 times)

I don't know if its possible, but it would be good if music could be contained within blocks, so if the building next to you has music you don't hear it as well.

Sort of like the music bounces off the four walls around you, like in real life.

i dought that could happen but it would be cool

I really like that idea, don't know if it will work.

Very nice idea but If possible it would be very hard I presume or require alot of engine change's.

I would like it if the lights could be contained.

That would make BL even better of a game :D.

Theres a possibility that this could work if music works the way I think it does. You could run it like a box. You hit the x corner, the y corner, and the z height of ceiling with a certain wand or something. Then it creates a phys zone or whatever where music plays. Idk, rambling.

Easiest way to do this would be to make a Gui with set baseplate size's and set brick heights. Allow people to change the Baseplate size from a 1x1-64x64. Aswell as a 1x1x1-1x5x1. And than, you select the music, and it contains it in that set environment.

Idea FTW.

Lets hope this happens. Or someone make it already. :P

Good idea.I think Tape`s idea would work best, because it wouldn`t cause notably lag.Anyway,we need someone professionals opinion. Then we would see if it`s possible.

I would like it if we could have as much music playing right next to each other as I wanted. I want to make real kick (insert obscene word here) stereo systems.

I say the limit needs to be brought down to the radius of the 3d sound emmiter.
It seems that it displays too loud in a radius further than you can hear.

2nd time I got to use this. :D

This has already been suggested. It's just that nobody cares enough to make it. But heres the thing, for the sound to go all around the room you'd need to place the brick in the very middle. Also music bricks are one by ones and therefore cannot be placed in the exact center of a room. So... there'd need to be a way to make sound stop when it hits a brick. Unfortunately I don't think that's possible with torque.

Would be good for light aswell
