What if you turn into a brick wall? Or you playback a macro (it automatically places the brick right under you)? And it'd work even if building is off. Those bricks would be destroyed when you transform back of course. That way you could transform into an Empty treasure chest.

How about an object that you hold that is invisible that turns you into a brick? It would be much easier to use.

When someone breaks you (only with your full trust), you die.

I don't know how changing the player model would work, but you could make the player invisible and mount a brick shape to it.

My idea, you hold a 1x1 brick and spawn a ghost brick you set where you are and cannot be more than 5 "studs" away from you, you click where you want and you turn into the brick, turning into what ever color the bricks adjacent to you. I am willing to make the script with milkshape BUT I like my idea because you can actually hide under things, moving, I would not prefer, due to being a brick; bricks cannot move.

EDIT: I'm going to kinda give up. I need a refresher in scripting. I'll release my .dts, if you use it, please give me credit. I'm going to work on the script, but it probally won't come out soon.
