Well basically I am about to get TF2 and I was wondering if I should just get TF2 or get TF2 and Gmod. So is Gmod worth it? And how long will it take to get all the good add-ons I need downloaded/working/understanding how to use them?

Basically with Gmod you end up with a 20 minute wait for each server (assuming you can even get in some of them) and then you end up with a bunch of people making wiremod turrets and cannons.

Funny, I never wait that long, unless it is a darkRP server, then, it is only long the first time it loads...

I only have to wait 20 minutes if I have to download 50 sounds or a big map.

Reactor, if you hate the game, do not just say one part of a story, say both sides, Like Nocturni said, that it only take long on huge ass maps, or alot of files, and those who do spawn wiremod crap, they have to be on a build server with wire mod.

Also, weren't you banned on facepunch for the� comedy hurr option?

Sooooooo what? I'm getting mixed messages and I need to decied soon cause I really want to get TF2. Also how mature on a scale of 1 to 10 is the comminute? Cause it looks like if Gmod has noobs it may not be worth playing.... Or at least it sounds like wire mod is used to make the game phail....

I haven't had a single server not take me less than 5 - 10 minutes to load. Its a combination of a billion lua files, sound files, shape files, texture files and creepfiles that loving wastes my time. Wiremod is present on a vast majority of the servers.

Yes I was banned for comedy hurr option and I am still bum-sore about it.

Well now I don't care if I get it now I will save 5 bucks so I will just get it for the sake of geting it..... Seeing as I have decided I guess I will lock this now.
