You pretty much copied and pasted the CN TV show. It wasn't even remotely original.

You can still make comics, just try to use fresher ideas. I don't people were making fun of your ability to draw.

Keep making comics, just choose a different set of characters and situations that aren't so familiar. They were laughing at the fact that the similarities was so distinct.
