How is bumping bad?

Bumping can be annoying becuase it brings back the pages that nobody cares about anymore.

You can tell if it is dead by looking at what times peeps posted at, don't psot that a mod is really kewl

Sometimes, but in rare cases, bumping is good. It occasionally brings up old topics that were never really looked into and promotes interest among people in the forums.

Now am i saying you should bump some old post made in 2006?

NO. But some boneheads who accidentally bump threads not realizing what date the thread was alive are useful and must take a flaming just so others can show how kewl they webskillz is.

After being on these forums for near 4 years, I've seen some really annoying bumps. Recently, about maybe a year ago?, someone bumped a 2 year old topic to say "lol." I could kind of understand if they were adding in something productive. Oh well, if this stuff starts again I've got my necro picture lying around somewhere..
