Muffin's emitter suggestions/show-off thread

Pretty much as the title says, I'll be releasing emitter packs later on with a bunch of miscellaneous and fun emitters to make up for the lackluster of emitters currently in Blockland. Although I'll state that you'll ultimately be the judge of this, but these emitters aren't the half-assed broken laggy or simply malformed particle puking emitters you're all accustomed to having released from time to time on the forums these days. These are as good as it can get for Blockland.

How can I, a blocklander, help muffin make the best emitter pack on Blockland?

Easy, just post any suggestions or cool ideas in this thread. I might just take them into consideration, if they're plausible and good ideas.

Want to help further? Well, I actually need a good artist, someone who knows his way around image editing enough to make new Particle Decals. I Always did want to make lightning emitters...

Sorry man, but I'm not going to help out in anymore projects after I finish helping a certain someone (Don't worry "Name Here", it takes a while since I'm slow at perfecting these things. Your fancy explosions will be done soon)

Muffin, could you tell me how you did the light projector? I would love to use it in the rocket launcher explosion for a new gamemode I'm working on.

As long as no one flies over it, it would be fine.

I just really wish there was a way to lock all 3 axises on a particle so it stops acting like a Billboard (stops rotating to look back at you). If I could spawn particles that face a towards a specific direction instead of players then this could work perfectly.

Edit: Took some more screenies while I finish up the musical note emitters.

Here's a look at the Column Shields, now featuring Offset emitters to make shields without the need of putting bricks in the way.




New and improved Dome shaped shield emitters, now emitting sci-fi squares instead of soft, round dots!




Keep in mind both these types of emitters have rotating parts
